Winter Solstice Total Lunar Eclipse starting at midnight!

For the first time in over 400 years there will be a total lunar eclipse tonight (midnight to 2:00 a.m.) on the winter solstice night. The moon will be at its highest point in the sky. However, we will not see it because we have overcast and snowy forcast. Emily says they have clear skies tonight and a beautiful full moon. Don't miss it if you have fair skies! This picture was last night through our high window. It is always a beautiful sight.

It's clear so far up here. We went for a drive along the lake and the moon was very bright.
