Ta da! Hip, hip, horray!

this really was a nice experience with my Mother.

We did the one in the lower right hand corner.

Lots and lots of rainbows and striped buildings! Even when we had 6 sky pieces left it was still difficult!

Just the beginning. My mother hard at it!

Great idea for Grandmother for Christmas!

I wouldn't go over 250 pieces, 100 is pretty ideal, because the pieces are bigger. Don't get too tricky. She has done 5 so far.

36th year of roasting the bird in the Romertopff

Such a nice family.

Four generations!

Jean Clause, Andrea , Haley and Sadie (the dog).

Recall Scott Walker

So your dad sat out on the corner of Elizabeth and Pierce (not on school grounds) and collected about a hundred signatures to recall our governor! Whoohoo Dad! A good day's work!

The new peeler, corer, and slicer is working~

I made a double batch of Ina Garten baked applesauce this morning. It is so good. The recipe is in her The Barefoot Contessa Cookbook, along with many other wonderful recipes.

Sloppy Jo set to simmer a few hours...

And now all teachers know...it wasn't just the snow!

Full Moon=crazy students!

Even in Wisconsin!

Nobody was ready for this on November 9th. Big beautiful snowflakes. The bad part was COLD, BLOWING, SIDEWAYS SLEET, and no scraper, gloves, hat, or warm coat. What can I say, I wore a rain slicker to school in the morning!

End of Season Blues?

Peter: Perfect fall night in Marinette. Clear and cool with Orion making an appearance in the night sky once again. With it the promise of a new deer season. Just a couple small concrete jobs left and I can return home to New Holstein.
